About the Event
Take Heart Film Screening and Music Event
Every week, two young Australians die from a 100% preventable disease.
Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) was eliminated in most parts of Australia in the 1960s. It is a disease that exemplifies the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
Join us for a FREE screening of the film TAKE HEART, narrated by Stan Grant.
The aim of this event is to help more people understand the devastating effects and how we can work together to stop Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD).
Live music by local musicians Atherton Hot Shots and Jasmin Chapman.
You can just turn up as entry is free however registration for $10.80 will guarantee a seat and a quality food pack (with a wrap and salad) for $10.80 (normally $20) catered by Petals & Pinecones.
